How to Know the Original URL hiding behind Short URL Link
We know that There are many sites who are providing a facility to create a Short URL link of website URL addresses. Some best tools to create short link is TinyUrl or Bitly or Google URL Shortener. And if you are using Social Media site such as Twitter or Facebook or any other social media sites then you may get some or many short link as a post.
The best thing is, in the Social media sites like Twitter, they allow us to write only 140 characters. So while posting anything with webpage address, we can post short link instead of Full Webpage URL and Short link can reduce the Word count. So Short link is useful.
But Sometime anyone may post a short link of a bad webpage address that you don’t want to see or open. The Tool is Unfurlr. It provides us a facility to know what is behind of a short link. So-
1. Open http://unfurlr.com/ in your Browser.
2. In the Check this URL box write or paste the Short link.
3. Click Check It.
Done!
You will see the Original link behind the Short link.
